This website is owned and operated by OPEN Interactive Inc, whose registered office is Wilkin Street, Fortlands, Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis. This website provides information about the Caribbean Investment Summit 2019 (“the Summit”) and is the primary means to apply to attend or sponsor the Summit or any part thereof.
If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following these terms and conditions of use which govern OPEN Interactive Inc’s relationship with you in relation to this website.
The term ‘OPEN Interactive Inc’ or ‘OPEN’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website. Your use of this website and our services, and any disputes arising from it, are subject to these Terms of Use which are subject to the laws and jurisdiction of St Christopher and Nevis.
We may update or modify these Terms of Use without notice to you. The date of the most recent update will be clearly stated. If we make material changes to these Terms of Use, we will notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes on this website before implementing them or by sending you electronic notification of the changes. This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. This website is a general audience site and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
This Privacy Policy is intended to cover collection of information on our websites from residents of St. Kitts & Nevis. Please be aware that the data protection and other laws of the St. Kitts & Nevis might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By using our services, you understand that your information may be transferred to our facilities and those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information we collect
We collect personally identifiable information (“PII”) that can identify you, including but not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, mobile number, e-mail address, Social Security Number, and bank and other payment details. We also collect information such as demographic data and data about your online activity on our website that does not identify you (“Non-Personally Identifiable Information” or “Non-PII”).
PII and Non-PII are known together as “Information”. We may also collect and store Information that you provide to us about other people (such as co-borrowers), including their name, address, telephone number, mobile devices, email address and Social Security Number.
How we collect information
From you. We collect Information you provide to us: (a) in connection with inquiring about or obtaining our services. The Information we collect from you will vary depending on the product or service requested.
We use cookies, web beacons and other standard internet technologies to collect information from your computer and about your activities on our website. We automatically collect Non-PII from your browser when you visit our website. This information includes, your IP address, your browser type and language, access times, the content of any undeleted cookies that your browser previously accepted from us and the referring website address.

With whom do we share your information
Affiliates and trusted third-party service providers who assist us in providing services. In submitting a request for a product or service offered through this website, when you click on any button indicating an acceptance or agreement to terms, a continuance of processing or submission, you signify your agreement to proceed you are consenting, acknowledging and agreeing to the disclosure of your PII with our Affiliates and trusted third-party service providers in our network with whom you are or may be matched. Affiliates and trusted third-party service providers with whom you are matched may retain or use your Information whether or not you use their services and you should contact these providers directly concerning their privacy and information sharing practices which may differ from ours.
Our Site also includes links to other websites and provides access to products and services offered by third parties, whose privacy policies we do not control. When you access another website or purchase products or services from a third party Site, use of any information you provide is governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the site you are visiting or the provider of such products or services.
We also make some content, products and services available through our Site through cooperative relationships with third party providers. We may share with our provider partner any information you provide, or that is collected, in the course of visiting any pages that are made available in cooperation with our provider partner. We may share Non-PII with third parties in our discretion.
Choices about Collection and Use of Your Information
You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but that may result in the inability to use certain features of our websites or receive certain products or services.
Regulations require that we store completed loan requests for various periods of time. In order to comply with these requirements, we may be unable to delete your information from our database until the expiration of the applicable period.
How we protect your PII
We take appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help safeguard your PII from unauthorized access and disclosure. In addition to the restrictions outlined above, we require employees to comply with information security safeguards, we use encryption in the transmission of your PII between your system and ours, and we use firewalls to help prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to your PII.
No system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your PII, searches or other communications will always remain secure. Users should also take care with how they handle and disclose their PII.
How to make changes to your information. If you are a registered member of our Site, you can make changes to your account information by logging in to the Site and using the account tools available via the Site. If you have subscribed to one or more of our e-mail newsletters, you may also change your subscriber information, modify your subscriptions, and/or unsubscribe from these newsletters at any time by visiting the members account section of the website. If you have any questions about modifying your account or preference information, please visit the customer service pages of our Site.
These Terms of Use do not create rights enforceable by third parties or require disclosure of any PII relating to users of our websites.
Payment
These are our accepted payment methods –

We accept the following currencies: US Dollar ($) and Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD). The rate of conversion may vary from day to day. You will bear any bank charges for currency conversion. We do not accept payment by cash or cheque in any currency.
Before paying, you must accept our Terms and Conditions. Your order will only be complete when we’ve sent you a confirmation by email and after the full price has been paid. We have the right to cancel or refuse your current order if you have not paid for a previous order in full.
Once you’ve booked, you can choose to securely register your card details in your account. It’ll make your future bookings speedier. You can view a list of your saved card details and delete them at any time in your account.
We may charge you fees on top of your booking price, but we will highlight these to you during the booking process. Some of the fees come straight from other service providers, so we have to charge them to you, as you’re booking your tickets for their service with us.
Concerning any payments by credit card or electronic funds transfer, by submitting your order for processing, you authorise us to charge your order (including taxes, shipping, handling and any amounts agreed upon before order submission) to your credit/debit card or account.
If your credit card or account cannot be verified, or is invalid, or is not otherwise acceptable, your order may be suspended or cancelled automatically.
All prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice.
Transfer
If a registrant is unable to or does not intend to attend the Summit for any reason they may substitute another person, by arrangement with OPEN Interactive, provided at least two week’s notice is given before the commencement of the Summit.
Variation or Cancellation
If you choose to vary or cancel your order for registration, please contact our team in the USA at +1 855 700 OPEN (6736), in St. Kitts and Nevis at +1 869 662 8771 (SKN) or email us at icsummit@madebyopen.com within the first 24 hours after completing your order for registration, and our team will assist you in processing that request. You will be entitled to a full refund, less any applicable bank charges. Variations made within 24 hours after completing your order for registration will be entitled to any applicable concession.
The time it takes to remove your authorisation for OPEN to charge your order (including taxes, shipping, handling and any amounts agreed upon before order submission) to your credit/debit card or account will be determined by the financial institution that issued your card. You may contact your financial institution for more information.
If you choose to vary your order for registration after the first 24 hours of completing your order for registration, you may be charged a fee of up to US$25 to process the variation. You will also be liable to pay the difference between the new order and the sum already paid and any applicable bank charges and taxes. Variations made after the first 24 hours of completing your order for registration may not be entitled to concessions which applied to similar orders. It is within OPEN’s absolute discretion whether to apply such concessions.
If you choose to cancel your order for registration after the first 24 hours of completing your order for registration, you may be charged a fee of up to US$25 to process the cancellation. You will not be entitled to a full refund, but you may be entitled to a partial refund upon request, in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Payments of, for and/or in relation to sponsorships cannot be cancelled after the payment is completed. If you believe there has been an error in your payment, please contact our team in the USA at +1 855 700 OPEN (6736), in St. Kitts and Nevis at +1 869 662 8771 (SKN) or email us at icsummit@madebyopen.com within the first 24 hours after completing your payment, and our team will aim to assist you in resolving any errors.
Refund
Delegate
If you choose to cancel your registration after the first 24 hours of completing your order for registration, you may make a request to OPEN for a partial refund. The following refund arrangements apply:
- Requests received more than 60 full days before the start of the Summit will be refunded 90% of the registration fees.
- Requests received between 30 and 60 full days before the start of the Summit will be refunded 50% of the registration fees.
- Requests received within less than 30 full days before the start of the Summit will not be eligible for a refund.
All requests for refunds must be sent by post to OPEN Interactive Inc, Wilkin Street, Fortlands, Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis or by email to icsummit@madebyopen.com. The effective date of the request refund will be the date on which such request is received by OPEN.
For payments received by credit or debit cards, the same credit/debit card will be refunded. For all other payments, a bank transfer will be made to the payee’s nominated account. For payments received from outside St Kitts and Nevis by bank transfer, the refund will be made by bank transfer and all bank charges will be for the registrant’s account.
Sponsor
All sums paid for and/or in relation to sponsorships are non-refundable.
Liability
Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.
Through this website you are able to link to other websites which are not under the control of OPEN. We have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.
Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, OPEN takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent OPEN from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
